TRS launches campaigns for unanimous resolutions

Even before the election dates are announced, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is into campaign mode. It has started programmes on unanimous resolutions by different caste organisations who pledge to vote for the TRS. Residents of Gurralagondi village in Chinnakodur mandal on Wednesday passed a unanimous resolution that they will vote for the party candidate and Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao. Leaders of different organisations displayed boards stating that they would vote for the TRS.

Party workers were also advised not to allow leaders of other parties into the villages and tell them they would vote for only TRS. “I am bestowed with great honour with the entire village passing a resolution to vote for TRS and handing over Rs. 30,218. Several villages are ready to pass such resolutions. For the sixth time, I am contesting elections with the blessings of KCR. We will bring Godavari water from Kaleswaram by the next season and see that water will be supplied forever acre,” said Mr Rao while addressing the meeting in the village.
