The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Telangana unit has once again accused the TRS Government of having double standards in demanding celebrating the Hyderabad liberation Day during the separate State agitation and giving it up after coming to power because of ‘pressure’ from Majlis Party. “It is a matter of shame and regret that the TRS has consistently refused to celebrate the day, insulting the Telangana people and their self-respect. Is it necessary to stoop so low and join hands with the successors of Razakkars for the sake of votes,” wondered party chief K. Laxman on Monday.
