HDK alleges 'kingpins' are trying to topple govt

Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, remarked on Friday, that certain "kingpins" were amassing money to topple the Congress-JD(S) coalition government. He added that he was contemplating legal action to save his government.

While Kumaraswamy did not name such 'kingpins', he linked their alleged activities to reports that the BJP was trying to woo legislators of the Congress-JD(S) combine. “What the BJP is doing doesn’t concern me. But don’t I know what’s happening? I know money is being offered (to legislators). Do you think I will be silent?” Kumaraswamy rhetorically asked reporters at his home office Krishna. “Where is this money coming from? Who are the kingpins? I’m thinking of all I can do under law to take action against those involved,” he added.
