Rebel trouble to fore in Telangana Rashtra Samithi

After Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA Konda Surekha and former MP Ramesh Rathod raised the banner of revolt as they were denied ticket in coming elections, several others in the party have followed suit across the State. The party leadership’s denial of party ticket to Ms Surekha found support from Damodar Yadav, a corporation in Warangal (Urban), who organised a meeting of his followers justifying the decision.

Nalgonda Zilla Parishad Chairman Nenavath Balu Naik, who aspired nomination from Devarakonda (ST) constituency was peeved that he failed to get the nod and went into a huddle with his followers. Sources said he might return to Congress in a few days. The TRS has announced the candidature of sitting MLA Ravindra Kumar who switched over from the CPI.
