All help to rebuild State welcome: CM
The government, in its task of rebuilding Kerala after the deluge, will welcome all assistance which suits the State’s interests, from any quarters, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said.
Moving a motion to hold a discussion on the situation in the State following monsoon-related calamities at a special session of the Assembly here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said various international agencies had come forward with offers of assistance for the State. A team from the World Bank had already initiated discussions with the Chief Secretary and senior officials on the possible assistance they could lend the State, he said.
