The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Thursday granted Vedanta Limited access to it's administrative section of the Sterlite Copper plant in Tuticorin. However, the green panel said that production process will continue to remain shut.
A bench headed by NGT Chairperson, Adarsh Kumar Goel further directed the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) to submit analysis on baseline pollution data of SIPCOT industrial area.
