The secret pact between the TDP and the BJP was exposed in Parliament on Friday, said former YSRCP MP Y.V. Subba Reddy.
Responding to the developments in the Lok Sabha, Mr. Subba Reddy said the secret pact between the two parties was evident in the lack of response from the TDP MPs when Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh made it clear that the Centre was not going to give Special Category Status (SCS) because it had already given Andhra Pradesh a special package.
“None of the TDP MPs made even the slightest move to raise their voice in protest,” he said.
The Union Home Minister said though the TDP had left the NDA, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was his good friend. “What more is needed to say that the two parties have a secret pact?” Mr Subba Reddy said.
