Kaito tells cooperative societies to make success their priority

Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation, G. Kaito Aye, has urged the cooperative societies of Nagaland to retrospect on the failures and successes of the past years and make building success stories, their priority. He said this while speaking at the launching program of the Integrated Cooperative Development project (ICDP) of Kohima, Tuensang, Kiphire, Longleng and Peren district at Hotel Japfü in Kohima on Friday. Aye said Integrated Cooperative Development project was one of the most important schemes of the National Cooperative Development Cooperation (NCDC). He said this scheme promotes various economic activities through cooperatives in the spheres of agriculture, agro-based industries, cottage and household industries and agri-allied sectors like fisheries, dairy handlooms, horticulture and rural industries in select districts.
