Uppal MLA N.V.S.S. Prabhakar has said that promises made to Uppal constituency by the government even in the Assembly have remained unfulfilled and urged the Municipal Administration Minister K.T. Rama Rao to take immediate action on developmental works. Mr Prabhakar, who met the Minister at Secretariat, said the road widening works in Uppal were yet to start while lakhs of commuters have been facing hardship. This is happening despite the issue was brought to the government’s notice at all review meetings and also Assembly sessions.
