Amid speculation that he would soon leave Congress, former minister Mukesh Goud surprised everyone saying that Backward Classes were not discriminated against in the Congress as alleged by former minister Danam Nagender and that the party was strong in the twin cities.
Mr. Goud, who was almost in political hibernation during the last four years, celebrated his birthday in the presence of his followers, agreed that there were some differences between him and the leadership over some issues but they were common in a party like Congress. He alleged that some people were misleading the PCC leadership.
