JD(S) leader Anand Asnotikar on Saturday termed Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Anantkumar Hegde as a loafer. "Anantkumar Hegde is a loafer, a useless fellow," he told reporters.

"Somebody hoisted the tricolour in Hubballi, but Hegde told the RSS leaders that he had hoisted the flag. He claims that he has done so many things," Asnotikar charged. "Hegde has slapped everybody. He has even slapped former minister Vishveshwar Hegde Kageri with slippers. He has slapped a doctor. I should not be speaking about such a loafer," he added.
