Former Chief Minister of Kerala Oommen Chandy, who has been appointed person in charge of the Congress affairs in Andhra Pradesh has arrived in the city on a two-day visit.
Mr. Chandy has been appointed as the person in charge of Andhra Pradesh, in the place of former AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh. Mr. Singh, who was the AICC person in charge at the time of bifurcation, was blamed for the debacle resulting in his replacement.
