The local MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta on Thursday returned the cheque of Rs. 45,000 to the government, which he received under the Rythu Bandhu scheme for his land in his village Makloor. He handed over the cheque valued at Rs. 1.60 lakh issued to Tahsildar Prasad. Meanwhile, Anil, husband of Member of Parliament K. Kavitha, also returned the cheque for Rs. 1.09 lakh to the government.
