‘Karnataka has progressed well under Cong. rule’

Puduchery Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy on Tuesday said that Karnataka under the Congress has been able to attract considerable foreign investment with 24 % of the total investment coming from abroad. The State was progressing well under the Siddaramaiah government, he said.
Mr. Narayanasamy told reporters here that Karnataka was in the news during the last five years for all the good reasons unlike when it was in the news only for corruption during the previous BJP regime.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured people of zero tolerance to corruption, it is unfortunate that the BJP has projected a tainted person such as B.S. Yeddyurappa as its Chief Ministerial candidate, the Puduchery Chief Minister said.
He said that the BJP is making every effort to come back to power in 2019 as well without any policy or programme. Mr. Narayanasamy said that the Modi government has in fact cheated the people of India. With nothing to speak about the erstwhile BJP rule in Karnataka, that party was speaking about the so-called achievements of the BJP government at the Centre.
