Kejriwal gives suggestion to Centre- 'Share vaccine formula with other companies to produce more vaccines'

  • Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today held a digital press conference and advocated speeding up the vaccination drive against Corona.
  • He said that there is a need to produce vaccines on a war footing in the country and for this, the work of manufacturing the vaccine should not be with just two companies.
  • He said, "Right now we are applying 1.25 million doses daily, the goal is to do it 3 lakhs daily, but there is a big problem, that is the vaccine."
  • Kejriwal suggested, "There are only two vaccine companies that make 6-7 crore vaccines a month. It is now necessary to increase vaccine production in India on a war footing."
  • He asked the Centre to take the formula from these two companies and give it to other companies who want to make vaccines, 'this is the only way through which we will be able to vaccinate all Indians as soon as possible'.
