Coronavirus: India Overtakes Russia, Becomes 3rd Worst Hit Country
- With 24,248 fresh cases, India's COVID-19 tally reached 6,97,413.
- At present, there are 2,53,287 active cases in the country.
- While 4,24,432 patients have been cured or discharged, and one patient has migrated.
- The death tally of the country has reached 19,693 after 425 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
- With 2,06,619 cases Maharashtra continues to be the most affected state, followed by Tamil Nadu with 1,11,151 cases and then Delhi with 99,444 cases.
