4155 Shramik Special Trains Helped 57 Lakh Migrants to Reach Home

The Railway ministry informed that as of 2nd June, 4155 'Shramik Special' trains were operated which ferried over 57 lakh migrants to their native states.
The ministry tweeted, "These 4155 trains were originated from various states."
"The top 5 states/UTs from where maximum trains originated are Gujarat (1027 trains), Maharashtra (802 trains), Punjab (416 trains), UP (288 trains) & Bihar (294 trains)."
The ministry said that "Shramik Special" Trains were terminated in various States across the country.
"The top 5 states where maximum trains terminated are UP (1670 trains), Bihar (1482 trains), Jharkhand (194 trains), Odisha (180 trains), & WB (135 trains)," it added.
