J&K: Mehbooba Mufti's Detention Extended for 3 More Months

Former CM of J&K Mehbooba Mufti's detention has been extended for three more months.
This announcement came hours before her detention was due to expire.
Similarly, the detention of NC senior leader Ali Mohammed Sagar, and senior PDP leader Sartaj Madani, was also extended by another three months.
J&K's Home Dept informed that the extension of PSA was made under the public order provisions of the act.
At present, Mehbooba Mufti is lodged at her residence which has been converted into a subsidiary jail.
