BJP Legislators Wear 'I am Savarkar' Cap to Protest Against Rahul Gandhi's Remark

On Monday, the BJP’s legislators wore caps with ‘I am Savarkar’ written on them as they arrived for the winter session of the Maharashtra assembly.
The legislators including Devendra Fadnavis wore caps to protest against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remark against VD Savarkar.
Fadnavis said, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should tender an unconditional apology over his remarks on Savarkar."

He further said, "He does not seem to have studied India’s history of the Independence movement.”
This demand comes after Rahul Gandhi in a rally said that his name is Rahul Gandhi and not Rahul Savarkar and he will not apologize.
