Energy Minister Reviews Developmental Works At Nagada In Odisha

  • Dibya Shankar Mishra visited Nagada in the Sukinda block to reviewed works by the State govt for the development of the primitive Juang tribe living in the village.
  • Mishra said that developmental works like electricity connection, drinking water supply, and healthcare services will be expedited in the village.
  • In order to make the residents of Nagada self-reliant, the State government will provide the equipment for apiculture.
  • Besides, they will no longer have to cover a distance of 15 km to get PDS rice and other items as the govt are making necessary arrangements, the minister said 
  • However, the Nagada residents alleged that ministers and officials are regularly visiting their village but they are making only hollow promises.
