No Plans to Shift Andhra Pradesh Capital from Amaravati: Botcha Satyanarayana

  • Andhra Pradesh minister Botcha Satyanarayana said the state government has no plans to shift the capital city from Amaravati.
     
  • He was replying to TDP members P Samanthakamani, G Deepak Reddy and Paruchuru Ashok Babu in the legislative council. 
     
  • Let us tell you that it was Botcha who had created confusion by making statements that indicated that Amaravati was not suitable for the construction of big structures.

  • Botcha had also said that the TDP government had spent close to ₹12000 per square ft in Amaravati due to unsuitable soil.
