Army Deployed in Parts of Assam as Protestors Clash with Police Over CAB

After thousands of protesters clashed with policemen in Assam over the CAB the army was deployed in 4 areas of the state.
Guwahati was placed under indefinite curfew while mobile internet services were suspended in 10 districts in the state.
The curfews were extended as the protestors targeted the house of Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal and Union minister Rameswar Teli.

Let us tell you that on Wednesday the Rajya Sabha cleared the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
The bill was cleared with 125 votes in favor and 99 votes against.
