Mevani burns a bill's copy, urges tribal MLAs to join protest

On Tuesday, Jignesh Mevani called the propose Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Bill “anti-tribal”.
He openly opposed it and had burned its copy outside the Assembly complex.
“Had I been inside the Assembly, I would have torn this Bill.” he said.
Mevani has also said and called upon 27 tribal MLAs and 13 Dalit MLAs in the Assembly to join him in opposing the Bill.
Let us tell you that Mevani was expelled from the Assembly for the entire three-day session on Monday for “indiscipline” and “disrespecting”.
