No drugs in Anjuna: ex-minister Mandrekar
- Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former minister Dayanand Mandrekar on Monday said that there are no drugs in Anjuna.
- The music, which is being played in restaurants in the village and the surrounding coastal belt areas does not amount to rave parties.
- A delegation of hotel and restaurant owners from Anjuna and the surrounding coastal belt met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday at his official residence.
- The delegation told the Chief Minister that it is unfair to stop music played in restaurants at 10 pm on the claim of Siolim MLA Vinod Palyekar.
- Palyekar had claimed that drugs were available and rave parties were going on in Anjuna and the surrounding areas.
