Kiren Rijiju Tweets in Favour of Cops, Later Deletes the Tweet

Following the attack on a policeman Union minister, Kiren Rijiju tweeted, being a cop is a thankless job, but later he deleted this tweet.
His deleted tweet read, "being a cop is a thankless job. But they don't do it for thanks. Police officers put their lives on the line every day."
He further, "They are damned if they do, and damned even if they don't. What gets lost in all the anti-police rhetoric is the family left at home while a policeman serves."

He later clarified, "It's not a question of supporting any group. Just let's not take the law into our hands."
Let us tell you that thousands of Delhi policemen surrounded the Police Headquarters in the protest, blocking traffic on a busy road.
