BJP to give 13 Cabinet berths to Shiv Sena, no deal on CM’s post.
Amid the ongoing tussle over the seat-sharing formula in Maharashtra, BJP is expected to give 13 portfolios to the Shiv Sena and will keep 26 with themselves.
Though BJP has made it very clear that the distribution of the four important portfolios would be with them and there would be no discussion on those at all.
Shiv Sena has stuck to its demand, of CM’s post, of half terms of 2.5 years each in the government including the sharing of Cabinet berths.
The BJP legislative party is expected to hold a meeting later today where the next Chief Minister will be chosen.
Fadnavis had also categorically stated that he would be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the next five years.
