Second Shehtri Samridhi Utsav Mela begins in Manipur

The second edition of the 3-day Shehtri Samridhi Utsav Mela was inaugurated at the Hafta Kangjeibung in Manipur’s Imphal East district on Friday.

Celebrated as a part of Mahatama Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary celebration, the Mela is organized by the union ministry of housing and urban affairs.
The Mela aims to unite all Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana- National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) stakeholders.
“The Mela aims to showcase and market the products manufactured by various self-help groups (SHGs) under NULM nationally.” saidMUDA) commissioner M Joy Singh
Sing urged the concerned officers to look into the matter and submit the relevant documents at the earliest.
