This Winter Session, MPs to get Sanskrit lessons from RSS affiliate

An RSS affiliate has a fresh plan for the Members of Parliament and that is to learn and speak Sanskrit.
In its bid to promote the language, the Samskrita Bharati is set to organise a 15-day camp for MPs during the Winter Session of Parliament in the national capital.
According to the organisation, it has taken Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla’s consent to organise the workshop.

The number of days can be extended, but roughly we want 30-40 MPs to learn Sanskrit in the first batch.
The MPs will be trained by Samskrita Bharati teachers, who will also distribute two manuals to help the legislators learn and memorise the language.
