Two senior Andhra politicians meet CM Jagan, join YSRCP
On Tuesday, Two senior politicians – former MLC Jupudi Prabhakara Rao, and former Jana Sena party member Akula Satyanarayana – met with CM Jagan and joined the YSRCP.
Speaking to reporters after joining the YSRCP, Jupudi, a senior leader said that Jagan had emerged as a winner with a clear mandate of the people.
"Jagan has spent the last 10 years amongst the people, understanding their issues," he added.
A strongman in East Godavari district, Trimurthulu's decision had come as a big blow to the TDP.
In the elections held this year, the YSRCP had bagged 151 seats in the 175-member Legislative Assembly.
