Meghalaya CM to campaign for UDP candidate in Shella bypoll

Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma will be campaigning for the United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate and former Assembly Speaker.
“CM will start campaigning for our candidate after he returns from abroad on October 11.” UDP vice president, Allantry F. Dkhar informed today.
According to him, the campaign by the Chief Minister will be a huge boost for the prospect of the party candidate to win the bye-election.
“In this election, we are getting support even from people who were not supporting late Dr. Roy in the previous elections.” UDP vice president said.
The UDP vice president also countered the claim of the PDF that the party votes in the last election has remained intact.
