President on two-day visit to Odisha this month
- President Ram Nath Kovind will embark upon his two-day visit to Odisha on September 27 for various official engagements.
- Kovind will arrive Berhampur in Ganjam district next morning on Sept 28. He will return to Bhubaneswar at around 11.00 am.
- Preparatory meeting was held here today for security arrangements as per the Blue Book containing rules and guidelines for the protection of head of the country.
- “Discussion was made with Intelligence, CISF, airport authorities and other stakeholders on various security arrangements as per the Blue Book guidelines for President’s visit,” informed Odisha DGP BK Sharma.
- He is scheduled to make his way back to New Delhi on the same day.
