The Chief Minister said that preparations for the sanction of Sabarimala Airport had started

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that preparations for the sanction of Sabarimala airport have begun. The Chief Minister said this in a meeting with the airline authorities. "We expect to start 30 domestic flights from Kerala within the next three months," the aviation secretary said.
The Chief Minister said that the services from Thiruvananthapuram Airport are a considerable concern. Aviation services are least impacting investors and tourism. In the first quarter of the current financial year, 1579 services have been reduced.
The air fare from Thiruvananthapuram is higher than other airports. The chief minister said the airlines have been requested to increase the domestic and foreign flights.
