The BMC boss has pulled up three civic departments over delays in delivery by developers that hold civic contracts to raise and hand over accommodation and amenities for people affected by various development projects.
The builders were supposed to provide tenements for 1,329 project-affected people (PAP) and 45,519 sq m of built-up amenities such as hospitals and schools.
In a strongly worded circular issued on August 28, Municipal Commissioner Praveen Pardeshi expressed his disgruntlement with the "lethargic" attitude of the development plan (DP), building proposal (BP) and estate departments.
