CM directs construction of alternative water pipeline

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has directed Public Works Department to lay an alternative water pipeline throughout the State so that there is no disruption of supply even in the worst of situations. The directions came in the wake of the water supply cut-off to Tiswadi and areas of Ponda taluka for over a week after the water pipeline burst at Kandepar due to a landslide.
