Arunachal Pradesh deputy chief minister Chowna Mein called on Governor Brig (Retd) B D Mishra at Raj Bhavan in Itanagar on Monday.
During the meeting they discussed matters related to development, with special focus on power and investment.
 
The Governor emphasized on proper and regular monitoring of the ongoing projects in the State, especially those under Central Government sponsored schemes and programmes.
He stressed on judicious utilization of funds, particularly for the work or task implementing agencies, which must be carried out works with transparency and accountability.
The Governor also discussed about financial inclusion initiatives, direct benefit transfers and clearing of bottlenecks in the developmental process.
He advocated for a concerted effort from all stakeholders, including the departments, implementing agencies and general public for in time completion of projects.
The deputy chief minister, who is in-charge of the finance department, further briefed the Governor on the financial status of the State.
