Gujarat High Court questions multiple pleas against Rajya Sabha poll victory

The arguments on maintainability of the two separate petitions filed by Congress leader Gaurav Pandya, who unsuccessfully contested the Rajya Sabha election against external affairs minister S Jaishankar, against the poll victory of Jaishankar and Jugalji Thakor continued on Monday before the Gujarat High Court.
While the single-judge bench expressed its doubts on the two separate petitions filed by Pandya challenging the same election, counsel for the Congress leader, BM Mangukiya, tried to justify the multiple petitions.
