The GVMC officials have demolished the building which belongs to TDP former MLA Peela Govind over-identifying it as an illegal construction in Visakhapatnam. Going into details, the TDP leader Peela Govind has built a multi-storied building on the main road in Dwaraka Nagar here in the city.
However, the officials have raised objections that the construction was done without proper permission by occupying the drain. Not only that, in spite of issuing several notices earlier, there was no response from the owner. In this context, the officials have started the building demolition on Saturday morning, which led to tension situation in Dwaraka Nagar. The police were deployed in large number to control the situation in the area.
