Family of tribal youth in MP claims he is in Pakistani jail, Kamal Nath assures help

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has assured the family of a missing youth that he would raise the issue of the youth allegedly being in Pakistani jail with the Ministry of External Affairs. The family of the missing youth had raised the issue with the state government. Raju Laxman (30) is a resident of Indhavadi village in MP's Khandwa district and has been missing for about two months now. Raju's mother Basanta claimed that she had seen a photograph of a youth who she identified as Raju.
She said that Raju was in the custody of Pakistan authorities who claimed that he was spying on a nuclear facility in East Punjab. The mother said that her son was mentally disturbed and could have landed up in Pakistan after leaving home two months ago.
She informed state medical education minister Vijay Laxmi Sadho who inturn informed, CM Kamal Nath. On August 1, Pakistani authorities had claimed the youth had arrived in Punjab from Balochistan.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath had on Tuesday tweeted that in case it was ascertained the youth is in Pakistan, all efforts would be made through the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to get him back. SP, Khandwa, Dr. Shiv Dayal told India Today that officially the police have not been informed whether the youth is in Pakistan. The family of the youth is claiming to have seen a photograph and identified the youth as Raju Laxman. The district administration is trying to ascertain if the youth is in the custody of Pakistani authorities after which the MEA will look into the case.
