Girijan Cooperative Corporation as part of its aggressive marketing strategy has decided to offer special discount of 15% to government and public sector employees on its products.
According to GCC Chairman and Managing Director T. Baburao Naidu, products of the corporation include food and health items such as tamarind, honey, cashew kernel, black pepper, turmeric powder, dry chillies and its powder, Araku Valley Coffee, tail millet and amla.
He said with an aim to reach these products to government and PSU employees, they will offer 15% discount by issuing loyalty cards. The employees have to register their names with other details with the corporation to avail the benefit. The products will be supplied through GCC’s online shops at the doorsteps and at all GCC retail outlets and mobile shops.
GCC has taken up several innovative steps for the overall economic development of tribals across the State. It is reaching out a wide range of finished products to the consumers directly after processing minor forest produce and agriculture produce of the tribal farmers.
