“Goan women are very decent and delicate and they are not like outside women who are very fast,” NCP MLA Churchill Alemao said on the floor of the House. The former CM was speaking on the Floor of the House during passing of the Goa Factories and Boilers (Amendment) Bill 2019, which proposes women to work in night shift in the private sector. “I don’t think everyone here, has visited casinos. The women who work there are from outside…they are not Goans..They know karate-barate and are very fast,” Alemao said after one of the MLA from the ruling bench claimed that women, not only work in hotels, airport, but also on casinos in the night shift. “Goan women are not like them…they are soft…they are decent and delicate..our women are not like those from outside,” added the Benaulim MLA.
