Govt taking steps to stall Polavaram: Devineni Uma

The TDP senior leader and former Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao has said that the Polavaram projects works have stopped after YCP came into power.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, Devineni Uma alleged that the project works were stopped to benefit the neighboring state. He also said that the government had spent too much time to criticise the opposition party in the Assembly.
The former Minister said the government is taking steps for re-tendering the Polavaram project. He also questioned CM YS Jagan's government why the works of Vamsadhara-Nagavali and Sujala Sravanthi projects were stopped.
On the occasion, he recalled that the Polavaram was awarded the best Implementation project, and that it also entered into the Guinness Book of Records for concrete works.
