Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani sets up panel to probe officer accused of bigamy

Chief minister Vijay Rupani has set up a five-member committee to look into the allegations of bigamy against IAS officer Gaurav Dahiya. He has been accused of bigamy by a Delhi-based woman, who said he forcibly married her. Dahiya, on his part, has maintained that the woman had been blackmailing him for sometime.
The committee has three women IAS members and will be headed by principal secretary Sunaina Tomar. The other two include Mamta Verma and Sonal Mishra. The fourth member will be retired joint secretary Deviben Pandya along with one non-government member. Rupani has directed the members to submit the report in the matter at the earliest.
