Kumaraswamy thanks Reddy for voting for JDS-Cong in floor test

Two days after Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy lost the trust vote and the JDS-Congress government fell, BJP led by BS Yeddyurappa is yet to stake claim for the government.
BJP defeated the coalition government by 105-99 votes in the floor test on Tuesday after three-week long intense power struggle in the Karnataka assembly. Yeddyurappa said on Wednesday he was awaiting instructions from his party central leadership on staking claim to form an alternative government in the state.
Kumaraswamy met Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy for about an hour. Kumaraswamy thanked Reddy in the meeting on Thursday. Reddy had also tendered his resignation but later retracted it and supported the JDS-Congress coalition in the floor test.
