Kesineni Nani threatens to quit party if Naidu fails to control MLC Venkanna

MP Kesineni Nani threatened to resign from Lok Sabha as well as to the party membership if the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu does not keep the MLC Budha Venkanna under his Control. Taking to the Twitter handle, Nani said, "Chandra Babu Garu. If you don't want people like me in the party you can let me know, I will resign as Member of Parliament and also from the party membership. If you want people like me to continue, please control your pet dog."

Hours after Nani's tweet, the MLC responded saying that he will stop the Twitter war. "I will always be faithful to N. Chandrababu Naidu who gave MLC seat to me, a person from the Backward Classes. I will accept any name you give to my faith in him. For Mr Chandrababu Naidu and the party I am stopping this twitter war now," the MLC Venkanna said.

Nani and the MLC were in a war of words on Twitter after the latter lashed out at the MP over his comments on the party. "A person who joins forces with the opposition parties is dangerous. The party doesn't need opportunistic people like you (Nani), it needs someone who can fight for Chandrababu like a soldier who is ready to lay down his life," Venkanna criticised.
