HP CM signs MoU with industrial houses in Gujarat worth Rs 780 crore

The Himachal Pradesh Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with industrial houses in Gujarat worth Rs 780 crore, where Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur held a road show to attract investment in the state in order to bring investment in the state.
Addressing the entrepreneurs here he said, “Himachal government is ensuring timeliness, transparency, and accountability to the industrial projects in allotting clearances to help entrepreneurs from facing obstacles while setting up their units.
“In order to boost the investment, HP offers attractive incentives under the industrial policy. To make an ideal place for investment Himachal Pradesh has made significant moves for investments across different sectors. To support the investments, the state government is prepared”, Thakur added.
The signed MoU includes Rs. 360 crore with Centaur Energy, Rs. 110 crore with Ultracab India, Rs. 100 crore with Gujarat Ambuja Export Ltd, Rs. 100 crore with EssAct project (Creative Choice Group), Rs. 40 crore with JJPV Solar, Rs. 40 crore with Chandresh Cables, Rs. 20 crore with Ishan Netsol and Rs. 10 crores with Blue Ray Aviation to set up their respective units in Himachal Pradesh.
Thakur said, Government of Himachal Pradesh organized the event in collaboration with the CII, Himachal Pradesh, to attract investors to participate in the HP Global Investors Meet to be held at Dharamsala in November later this year.
In a move to encourage growth in the state and take it ahead among other states in the country, investors meet will be organized in coming November. With new ideas to develop the state, entrepreneurs can participate in it and contribute to the success of the meeting to be held, he added.
