TRS unhappy with Budget 2019, KTR attacks Centre in slew of tweets

A day after the budget 2019-20 was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and son of Telangana CM, K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) slammed the BJP-led Centre and termed the budget “extremely disappointing” and “insipid”.
Attacking the BJP in a series of tweets on Saturday, KTR wrote, “Extremely disappointing & insipid union budget from Telangana’s perspective. Economic survey praises Telangana’s initiatives but FM @nsitharaman Ji completely ignores a performing state’s requests for support.”
Expressing his displeasure, he said that while the NITI Aayog--the policy think tank, had appreciated the irrigation and drinking water projects taken up by Telangana government and recommended the Centre to allocate Rs 24,000 crore, the BJP-led Centre didn’t even allocate Rs 24.
