Two weeks after the assault on the Municipal Council president Rakesh Dhuria, hundreds of BJP-SAD activists staged a district-level demonstration outside the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police here today to protest police “inaction” in regard to the attack.
The activists also took out a protest procession from the Sanjeev Cinema chowk to District Administrative Complex braving the hot weather. The protesters were demanding arrest of the assailants
