Arunachal govt sets Rs 2,500 cr revenue generation target for 2019-20

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Monday informed that in attempt to further increase the state revenue generation, the state government has set a target of Rs 2,500 crore for the financial year 2019-20.
Addressing a huge gathering of doctors on the auspicious occasion of Doctors’ Day organised at the Golden Jubilee Banquet Hall in Itanagar on Monday evening, Khandu said the set target for this financial year would be an increase of Rs 500 crore from that of last financial year (2018-19) that witnessed a never-before state revenue generation of Rs 2,000 crore.
The chief minister was responding to requests for few welfare measures by the Arunachal Pradesh Doctors’ Association (APDA) for in-service government doctors of the state.
