Shripad: BJP will win 25 seats in 2022 state assembly polls

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) and Union Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik has said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win 25 out of the 40 assembly seats in the 2022 assembly elections.
Naik was speaking after being  felicitated at the programme, organised by the BJP Vasco Mandal at Railway Community Hall, Vasco, on Saturday.
The function was attended by Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida, former Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Rajendra Arlekar, former South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar, Vasco BJP president Rajendra Dicholkar, former Mormugao Municipal Council chairperson Deepak Naik, councilors, Fredrick Henriques, Yatin Kamurlekar, Reema Sonurlekar besides Gaurish Naik, Amey Chopdekar and others. Speaking further, Naik said, “BJP has formed government at the Centre only because of the hard work of its workers. The credit for forming governments at both Centre and state goes to the hard-working karyakartas.”
He said that the BJP is the largest political party in the world, having  membership of 11 crore.
He expressed confidence that the BJP would  create another record in the forthcoming membership drive, which is scheduled to start from the first week of July.
Speaking on the occasion, Arlekar  urged the youths to join armed forces, in order to work for the nation.
Vasco MLA Almeida said, “The proposed work of KTC bus stand in Vasco was held up due to some technical reasons, but it will pick up momentum in the coming days.”
The construction work of the proposed community hall at Old Power House, Baina besides other development projects in Vasco will be initiated shortly, he added.
