Andhra govt sanctions Rs 6.89 crore for helipad, wider road at CM Jagan Reddy's residence, sparks row

This comes even as the Jagan government has already demolished a government office built by the erstwhile Naidu government and has ordered his residence to be demolished as well.
India Today TV has accessed a government order that shows the Andhra Pradesh government accorded administrative sanction of Rs 1.89 crore to build a helipad and other facilities at Jaganmohan Reddy's camp residence at Tadepalli in Guntur district.
As per the government order issued on behalf of Principal Secretary (Transport Roads and Buildings) MT Krishna Babu, Rs 40 lakh has been allocated for the construction of a helipad for the chief minister and an approach road. Rs 75 lakh has been cleared for permanent barricading with iron frames.
Rs 30 lakh has been granted for a police barrack and toilet block while Rs 31 lakh has been allotted for setting up security posts and gates and portable cabins and Rs 13.50 lakh for a guard room and toilet block.
